18 months ago Billy lost his dad. And today is his dad's birthday. Being the amazing woman she is, Amy chose this significant day to start their marriage, so that the memory of his dad would resonate in their wedding, and in their marriage. Not to be out done, Billy chose this day, a day already so rich in meaning, to be baptized. He could think of no better way then to begin his marriage and rest of his life by demonstrating an outward expression of an inward commitment in his life. It was honor to be able to be there. To witness the commitment. The love. The joy and sorrow. It's going to be a great day.
Amy's dad baptized him...in waiters none the less! Awesome!

Great story! My parents got married on their siblings birthday. My aunt (my mom's sister) and my uncle (my dad's brother) both were born on Sept. 20th. Then, it might have been neat to continue the tradition as Tim and I's dad's both have May 22nd as their birthdays, but I would have just graduated college and really needed a little more time for wedding planning. Dates are always neat in how they are chosen.
