I can't stop sneezing...

But I can't bear (bare?) the thought of closing the windows. With each breeze that blows through my house, new spring fragrances fill the air. Freesia, that weird bush out front that I hate but looks pretty and smells good right now, and just the smell of flowers and warmth filling my house. I do so love the spring. And I could hardly keep myself from jumping up and down yesterday when I discovered buds on my hydrangea bushes. They're my favorite flower to grow, I think. I just love their big lacy blooms filling the entire bush. I have quite a collection of white hydrangeas now, and the one little trader joe transplant that comes back a different color every year.

I love the warmth of the afternoon, but the coolness of morning and evening.
I love pulling out my capris and shorts and pairing tanks with sweaters. I love sandals and having a reason to paint my toes.

I don't love the sudden need to shave my legs all the time. And I don't love how spring lasts about a minute in this town.

but ahhhh.... Spring.

I just LOVE this time of year.

I sure miss those days when spring started to arrive in mid to late Feb...here in KS, spring doesn't really get here until late April or early May. Snow is still melting from our freak blizzard last weekend!! I will gladly shave my legs every day if only it would warm up some...but, of course, warmer weather means that tornados are not far away. I hate spring now...bring on summer and fall.

So glad you're having a great spring...enjoy some for me! =)

It's "bear." You're bearing a burden about baring your bare legs. :)

I miss Bako because of you today!
