Crazy LA week: Part Two

And since we're out of order, seeing as I posted the finale of my week before my introduction, I figured I would just work my way backwards. We had been home from our whirlwind amazing family vacation (which I will post all about...soon...) less than 48 hours. It was a nutty day. The boys were wearing me out. It was 15 minutes until daddy got home. I jumped on the computer really quick to check my email and peruse facebook. Right there at the top of my 'most recents': "Free Dodger tickets". I messaged her really quick. Then I called Scott. We're not the most spontaneous of people, and now even less so with kids. But he was game. And an hour (or so) later the four of us were in the car, yet again, headed down interstate 5.

We had a ball.

We all wore Dodger Blue.

We ate french fries out of a hat.

We had Dodger dogs.

We ate ice cream out of a hat.

We threw one of our (free!) Manny Ramirez dolls over the railing. (Thankfully someone threw it back at as, so we still have two hideous Manny Ramirez dolls. Which are currently our favorite toys. They even go in the shower with us. It's bad enough I have to share the shower with an uber cute almost three year old. But two creepy, dread-locked Manny Ramierz' dolls is more than any mama should have to handle.)

We whined it was "our turn" to go hit the ball.

We whined it was "our turn" to go run on the grass.

When the whining and fidgeting got to be too much we called it.

We made it to the middle of the 8th, not bad for our first game. Although we didn't even get there until the bottom of the 2nd.

It was short, but oh so sweet. And a tradition we must keep up.

they're action figures. not dolls. boys have action figures. girls have dolls. and they're awesome. they came with free steroids.
